I am a Freelance Hair Stylist, a social media fiend and an outdoorsy Cornish bird who loves a good adventure and an old fashioned cream tea.
I started hairdressing 8 years ago - though I can hardly believe it's been that long! - on a whim when I left art college. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and there's nothing more satisfying than funneling both my creative side and my love of making people feel good about themselves into my hairdressing.
I left salon working behind 2 years ago. Salons are great, stylish, trendy and full of beautiful women. However, I love giving my clients a personal service, where they can make a brew how they like it. Having worked often 60 hour weeks in the last couple of years, I know how amazing it is as a "working girl" to have time to actually relax in your own home, make-up free and in your comfiest clothes.
And to all the incredible women bringing up little ladies and tiny chaps - I know how hard it is for you to leave the house, get child care, and be able to get your hair done at all. So why make it hard for yourself? Keep the little ones at home, stick a film on and have your hair done in peace. Save your babysitters for wild nights and festival fun!
So here I am. I am now a Freelance Hairstylist, with a love of salty sea tresses, vintage styling, and making my clients feel like a red carpet starlet when I leave their home. From boho braids to blondes, brondes, brunettes and balayages, I love making sure you feel amazing, without breaking the bank or being pressured into buying products and rebooking expensive services.
